Commitment To Our People - piqniq secures IPA People First Promise certification

piqniq is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded the IPA (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising) ‘People First Promise’ badge of honour for successfully demonstrating our commitment to mental health and wellbeing.

The IPA’s commitment aligns perfectly with piqniq’s purpose. We recognise that our greatest strength is our people, and we are intent on delivering progressive working models for the piqniq team. In turn, we understand how this positively impacts the service, stability, and longevity that our clients receive.

Our award comes at a significant time, as today marks National Stress Awareness Day. With 79% of people stating that work is their most common reason for feeling stressed (Statista) and 1 in 10 people actively considering leaving their job due to stress (Cartridge People), there is much work to be done to ensure we support health and wellbeing in the workplace.

The People First Promise is our declaration to current and future talent, as well as to clients, that we are taking active steps to protect, empower, and support the mental health and wellbeing of our people.

Commenting, IPA President Josh Krichefski said: "I am delighted to see that in less than a year, over 100 companies have become proud badge holders of the IPA People First Promise. Crucially, what these badges represent is the fact that thousands of industry people are being rightfully supported and empowered by their employers to prioritise their mental health and wellbeing. As I’ve said from the start of my Presidency, looking after our people isn’t just the right, moral thing to do. When people feel valued and supported, they're more motivated, productive, and loyal. Plus, it creates a more positive and fulfilling environment for everyone. Congratulations and thank you to all these companies for investing in their people."
